Darlene is also one of the long-standing hosts of The Love Jones Experience at The Russell in Downtown Hartford. This Monday night, open-microphone, event is a haven and mandatory pit stop for every up and coming performing artist in the greater Hartford area.
This year, Darlene was asked to join Connecticut’s poetry slam team Verbal Slap as the Performance coach. This is a new adventure for her but one that is quite fulfilling. She is a natural fit for this team. Brandon has been working on her new book of poetry titled “The Sweetest Agony”.
